More than 360 students earned a spot on the fall 2018 dean's list for Central College. The honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.

More than 160 upper class students will be serving as Peer Mentors in the more than 20 Iowa State University Learning Communities with ties to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) for the 2018-2019 academic year. Mentors help new students in the college make the transition to life at Iowa State. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities.
